Watch Will Ferrell Talk MLS Soccer As Ron Burgundy

Mugatu, Ricky Bobby, Chaz Reinhold, Frank the Tank; Will Ferrell has played some memorably ridiculous and hilarious characters over the years, but arguably his most iconic role is that of the Anchorman himself, Ron Burgundy. The clueless and confident San Diego broadcaster from Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy delivers the news with a honeyed voice that is kind of a big deal. So naturally, people want to see Will Ferrell do a Ron Burgundy impression whenever he has a mike in front of his face, and he recently did just that before his Los Angeles FC Major League Soccer team had their debut game against the Seattle Sounders. Take a look.

Look at that, Ron Burgundy isn't some one-dimensional newscaster like Walter Cronkite; he is a true anchorman bringing knowledge, gravitas and the smell of rich mahogany to any subject, including ftbol. I can't imagine how often Will Ferrell gets asked to do this, but at least Max Bretos acknowledges that it is low-hanging fruit when he makes the request. While the actor is currently lacking the signature mustache and the untouchable hair, the delivery is still there. It's brilliant how quickly Will Ferrell falls not just into the voice, but into the character, spouting off quotable mispronunciations and hilarious untruths delivered with all the conviction of a man with a journalism school named after him. Perhaps if MLS matches did feature packs of wild coyotes, the beautiful game would receive the love and attention stateside that it enjoys everywhere else in the world.

If anyone is wondering why Will Ferrell was on the desk with the ESPN FC crew, he is more than a fan; he is actually part of the ownership group for the Los Angeles Football Club, along with other notable names Mia Hamm, Magic Johnson and Nomar Garciaparra. The match between the LA FC and the Seattle Sounders was actually the very first match for the new Los Angeles team, which shares a market and a stadium with the more tenured and decorated LA Galaxy. No doubt inspired by the support of news legend and scotch enthusiast Ron Burgundy, the Los Angeles Football Club opened their very first season with a 1-0 victory over their opponents in the away game.

While Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues didn't quite live up to the impossible standard of the original, it still fared better than most comedy sequels, and there is always the possibility that we see a third film to make a trilogy. In fact, director Adam McKay recently spoke about the possibility, saying that another film might take the character far from the pitch to a war zone as an embedded journalist. Next up, Will Ferrell will star in Holmes and Watson, a humorous take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic characters, which scheduled to hit theaters late this year. For all the latest in football news and when Sex Panther will be back in stock, stay tuned to CinemaBlend.

New Spider-Man: Far From Home Video Goes Through All Of Peters Suits

New Spider-Man: Far From Home Video Goes Through All Of Peters Suits

Peter Parker is a superhero of many suits, each with a flashy look of their own. And with Spider-Man: Far From Home debuting in the next couple of weeks, its a good time to review just which ones will be present in the film.

So if youre curious as to the full complement of Mr. Parkers latest finery, then youre in luck! Not only is there a new video showing off the suits, but weve compiled a quick list of what those suits look to entail thus far. With that in mind, check out this latest video for Spider-Man: Far From Home:

By our count, we see four suits in total in this Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, and while that doesnt seem like a lot when comparing Peter to his mentor, the late great Tony Stark, this is still an impressive number of suit changes. Then again, Spider-Man has been enlisted to help Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Quentin Beck in fighting against four titanic villains known as The Elementals, so it looks like hell need each and every costume change were about to see.

So now its time to look at all four outfits that are on display.

Original SuitWe start with Peter Parkers tried and true underoos. Its his basic suit that originated in Captain America: Civil War, and continued to be his original duds when kicking off his own franchise in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Though, as everyone knows, this gave way to a brand new suit that Peter would start to use in the name of crime fighting.

New SuitDubbed the Iron Spider suit, we saw a glimpse of this suit at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, when Peter Parker was offered to make Spider-Man an official Avenger. But once he became an official Avenger in Avengers: Infinity War, Peter was given this suit to stop him from suffocating in space as he tried to tag along with Tony Stark to save Doctor Strange.

Despite literally biting the dust in this metal suit, complete with robotic spiders legs that can move and block attacks, Spider-Man still has it in the rotation in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Though theres two more suits to go, so lets look at something a bit newer in the Parker Collection.

Newer SuitSpider-Man: Far From Homes first new suit, the Stealth Suit, comes from Nick Fury himself. A standard black and apparently very uncomfortable, Peter will be using this suit in combat against Molten Man. The flashy feature that stands out on this particular suit, so far, is the goggles that Tom Hollands Peter Parker can flip on and off with some mechanical assistance. Though the apparent tightness may or may not be because this suit was intended for someone else, and tailored for Peter's usage.

Newest SuitThe last and newest suit shown off in IGNs video is more of a return to form. Now since Spider-Man: Far From Home isnt out yet, we dont know much about what this suit should do. All we do see in the trailer is that Peter designs it himself, and uses it against Hydro Man in yet another crucial set-piece in the films chain of events. And we know the name that's been given to this outfit, so far, is the "Upgraded Suit."

Also, eagle eyed fans will note that it looks like this suit may become the garden variety favorite for Peter Parker/Spider-Man, as that last bit of footage feels like it comes from the final act of the film, though we could be wrong.

So we have four suits, insane action and a European vacation that Peter Parker and/or Spider-Man will never forget. Thats what Spider-Man: Far From Home is offering audiences when it arrives in theaters on July 2, and that pretty much suits us if we do say so ourselves.

It all makes for pretty big life changes and those call for new suits, and now we know that when it comes to Spidey's "upgraded suit" in Far From Home it's a suit that Peter made for himself.

The latest Spider-Man: Far From Home TV spot features all the confirmed suits for the wall-crawling hero in the new film. In two weeks, the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film arrives, offering fans their first glimpse at the world post-Avengers: Endgame.

Finally, there's the new black and red suit, which we know he will be wearing as he swings through New York City holding MJ (Zendaya) at a part of the movie we can't quite determine. Early? Late? We will know for sure when Spider-Man: Far From Home opens in theaters on July 2.

Brie Larsons Showing Off Serious Skills In Captain Marvel Training Video

Brie Larsons Showing Off Serious Skills In Captain Marvel Training Video

WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War! Do not read ahead until you've seen it.

In the post-credits scene to Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel was basically teased as the potential savior of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the countless citizens of the universe who fell when Thanos snapped his fingers. So needless to say, expectations are high that when Captain Marvel makes her debut next March, she will be the hero the MCU needs. Before then, actress Brie Larson is working hard to live up to the role, putting in the gym time necessary to be the Captain Marvel we deserve. You can take a look at her showing off her skills and what goes in to being a superhero in the training video below.

If there's one thing that is going to make the difference in defeating Thanos, and something the Hulk & Co. might have slacked on, it's leg day. Truthfully, these barbell overhead walking lunges are a whole body workout and you can tell how intense and focused Brie Larson is while doing them in this Instagram post. She's hitting depth too, not cheating or taking shortcuts. That's very Captain Marvel to do things the right way. While major stars like Brie Larson have stunt doubles to make them look good in action scenes, they still have to look the part and be believable as strong, capable heroes and that usually involves a tough diet and workout regimen, one that Brie Larson looks to be excelling at.

One cool thing about this is that for years we saw physical transformations from the likes of Hugh Jackman and Ben Affleck and other male actors as they put on muscle for their superhero roles, but now with more female superheroes making their way to the big screen, we are seeing that women can also bring a strength and physicality to these parts. Actresses like Alicia Vikander in Tomb Raider and Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman and now Brie Larson are setting a new standard for what heroes can look like. However, as the Hulk found out, strength alone will not be enough to stop Thanos, so hopefully, Captain Marvel is bringing some serious fighting skills and energy blasts to the table.

If fans were excited about Captain Marvel before Infinity War, they are infinitely more so after it. The post-credits scene found Nick Fury basically throwing up a Hail Mary page to Carol Danvers right as Thanos wiped out half the universe, Avengers included. This sets her up to be a huge deal in Avengers 4, a film that she has been confirmed to appear in. No disrespect to Ant-Man and the Wasp, but it's hard to argue that the newness and potential of Captain Marvel doesn't make that the most anticipated non-Avengers MCU film as we begin the year-long road to Avengers 4.

Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and blasts into theaters on March 8th, 2019. To see movies hitting theaters a little bit sooner, check our 2018 release schedule and for more helpful reminders to get into summer shape very soon, stay tuned to CinemaBlend.
